What ages do we accept for our groups?
We have two groups. Little Honey Bees is for ages 3-5 and The Hive is for ages 6-9.
Will my kids age out of these programs?
No, Our Programs are designed to grow with your children. For example 2025 age range for The Hive is 6-9. next year this groups age range will be 7-10.
Why do we do this?
We want our group to learn and grow together. Our goal is to not only offer fun education opportunities, but build lifelong friendships along the way.
What does Secular Mean?
Secular means we have no religious or spiritual basis. This DOES NOT mean we don't accept those who are religious. It only means that we do not implement any religious teachings.
How Do I join?
Fill out a registration form for each participating child. You will be sent an email with next steps along with an invoice.
Is it possible to do once a week for The Hive Drop Off Program?
Yes, once a week is possible. While we aim for twice a week, we can accommodate a once-a-week schedule depending on class size and availability. If you’re considering this option, please reach out so we can coordinate a schedule that works for everyone.
Do you follow a Specific curriculumn?
We do not follow any specific curriculum. We Use unit studies based on whatever yearly themes we decide on.
Are Classes Structured or more relaxed?
Little Honey Bees
This group is less structured with open roaming on stations, although we do encourage parents to ensure that all stations are completed.
The Hive
This group is more structured with multiple lessons throughout the day. There is free play and group activities between lessons to keep kids engaged.
Is there a waitlist if classes are full?
Yes, if both classes are full you will be placed on a wait list and contacted as soon as a spot is opened up.
What Subjects do you cover?
Unit Studies can include the following subjects:
- Science
- History
- STEM
- Literature
- Art & Nature
Do Parents Have to teach or Volunteer?
No, parents are not required to teach or volunteer for either group. We do accept all and any help for those who would like to be involved though.
What is your sick policy?
To ensure a healthy environment for all families, we ask that you follow these guidelines:
• Stay Home if Contagious: If your child has any contagious illness, such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, pink eye, or any other symptoms of illness that could spread to others, please keep them home until they are symptom-free for at least 24 hours.
• Allergies Are Okay: If your child is experiencing mild allergy symptoms (such as a runny nose, sneezing, or occasional cough due to seasonal allergies), they are welcome to attend.

Are there any field trips or social events offered?
Little Honey Bees
yes, we do try and offer 1-2 field trips monthly. These are not included with tuition as they may vary.
The Hive
We do not offer field trips since this is a drop off program, but we will occasionally have guest speakers or hold special classes depending on units and themes. These will be included in tuition.
What happens if I miss a class?
Little Honey Bees
We do encourage at minimum once a week attendance. Meets missed are not eligible for makeup because we do only purchase enough supplies for each events participating children.
The Hive
There are no penalties for missing occasional days and for certain activities there may be take home options.
Is there a way to stay informed about news and updates?
Yes, Each program has there own private facebook group for those registered. Any updates and pictures will be shared there.
Do you offer any discounts ?
We are committed to making our co-op affordable and accessible to all families. Our pricing has been carefully set as low as possible to cover the costs of materials, facility use, and other necessary expenses.

Because we’ve already worked to keep our fees minimal, we are unable to offer additional discounts or scholarships.

When is monthly tuition due?
Invoice Schedule:
• Invoices are sent on the 1st of each month.
• Payment is due no later than the 15th of each month.
Payment Window:
• Families have a two-week period to submit payment, ensuring ample time for processing.
Communication:
• If there are extenuating circumstances preventing timely payment, families are encouraged to communicate promptly to discuss alternative arrangements.
Are lunches included?
No, We do have time allotted for lunches and snacks but will not be providing individual lunches.
