The Hive
We are a secular program designed for ages 5-9yrs. We explore engaging unit studies that combine multiple subjects in a fun and meaningful way.
Our approach includes read-alouds that spark imagination and encourage discussion, hands-on crafts to reinforce learning, and STEM activities that inspire curiosity and problem-solving.

🐝 The Hive Hours & Location
📅 Tuesdays & Thursdays
⏰ 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
✨ Starting in October, our hours will extend to: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
This adjustment allows us more time for activities, crafts, lunch, and play without rushing.
📍 Autumn Park Pavilion & Clubhouse
7628 Autumn Park • San Antonio, TX
🌼 Our outdoor pavilion is our default learning space, giving kids plenty of room for nature play and fresh-air learning.
🍂 On days when the weather (or lesson needs) call for it, we’ll transition indoors to the clubhouse.
💛 Our ultimate goal is to move fully into the clubhouse as we grow—so come join us and help us build the future of The Hive!

At The Hive, we love to bring learning to life! 🌼 From time to time, we may schedule special field trips or invite guest speakers that connect with our current theme and activities.
✨ These opportunities are occasional and designed to enrich our hands-on learning experience.

These breaks give families time to enjoy the holidays and recharge before we jump back into all the fun learning and activities at The Hive. 🐝

🐝 The Hive Registration Details
🌼 Rolling Admissions (Limited Spaces)
Enrollment is open year-round on a rolling basis. Spaces are intentionally kept limited so our group remains small, connected, and thriving—don’t wait to secure your spot!
📅 School Year: February – February
Our program follows a February-to-February cycle.
This structure helps families offset finances during the busy holiday months.
✨ We are year-round, with the exception of one month off in the summer (July).
🍯 Ages: 5–9 years old
The Hive is thoughtfully designed for curious, creative learners in the early elementary years.
🐝 Drop-Off Program
The Hive operates as a fully drop-off program, giving parents valuable time while kids enjoy hands-on learning, nature play, and creative adventures.
Limited parent volunteer spaces are offered each year (based on group size) for families interested in participating more directly.
