Little Honey Bees

We are a secular play-based learning community designed for preschool-aged children. We focus on fostering curiosity and creativity through monthly themes that guide our activities and lessons.

What will my child be doing?

  • Circle Time

    We will go over things such as days of the week, months, weather, and discuss the monthly theme. Every circle time ends with a read a loud.

  • Learning Stations

    we have between 2-3 learning stations depending on theme. Though stations vary they will always include math and science.

  • Themed Crafts

    we do aim for 1-2 crafting projects sometimes including nature based activities to encourage hands on discovery.

  • Sensory Bins

    We aim for 2-3 sensory bins weekly to encourage imaginative play and offer a hands- on way to explore and engage in our monthly themes.

Times and locations

Monday/Wednesday/Occasional Fridays

10:30am-12:30pm

O.P Schnabel Park - **Main Location** We use front and back pavilion depending on weather and activities.

Various Locations - Sometimes we will try new parks or host parties elsewhere.

***Notifications of location changes will always be found in the Honey Bee Facebook Group***

Field Trips/Additional Activites

We aim to incorporate 1-2 field trips per month. This is not included in tuition and is completely optional.

We do encourage all members to have a zoo membership. We try and go to the zoo as a group once a month.

Monthly schedule

We come out with a monthly calendar to help parents stay organized with whats going on each month. This can only be accessed through the Honey Bee facebook group.

For us Moms!

We offer moms a chance to unwind and connect through our book club and craft nights. These gatherings provide a much-needed break allowing moms to relax, recharge, and build a supportive community. These events offer a perfect opportunity to find balance and connect with other moms who understand the journey.
